Here’s the problem

More people email me about this than any other financial issue – they just don’t know where to start when it comes to their investments

Too much choice

Many of the current platforms have over 2,500 funds available. Even your workplace pension probably has 50-100 investment options – where do you start?

Right for you?

How can you know whether your investments are aligned with your future goals? A list of funds can’t take your unique plans into account. How can you choose the right funds for YOU?

Staying the course

Even if you choose well at the start, how can you be sure the funds you choose are still the right ones in five years’ time? Or ten? Or 20? Which stats should you keep an eye on, and which should you ignore?

Too risky?

How do you know how much risk to take? And how do you know if the funds you choose are performing within your risk tolerances? Risk and reward are closely linked, but difficult to apply in practice.

The solution?

One course

Four Great Modules

18 video lessons

Easy to follow. Learn at your own pace Each module is divided into four or five easy to follow videos with supporting resources to help you learn. Your membership gives you indefinite access so you can re-watch the lessons to cement your learning.

1. Risk & Timescale

You can’t begin to invest without an understanding of the interaction between risk and timescale. Plus, what does risk really mean?

2. Asset Allocation

Once your timescale and risk tolerance have been established, we can build a mix of investments which will help you meet your goals within those risk tolerances.

3. Building blocks

Once your Asset Allocation is in place, you need to be able to find the best funds to ‘fill up’ that allocation, having a mind to costs and risk

4. Reviewing funds

Any portfolio left to its own devices will get out of kilter and potentially leave you open to big movements in rocky markets, and that’s the last thing you need

What People Are Saying

The course was worth every £ (and more). The first two modules built upon the foundations of investing we were all familiar with from Pete’s Meaningful Money Podcasts, although there was much greater depth which allowed us to dig deeper and gain a more comprehensive understanding of issues like “risk”. But it was in the third and fourth modules where the course really came to life with real-time financial planning, fund selection and reviews, equipping us with the tools to become more confident investors.  A fantastic experience

Andy G

I thoroughly enjoyed the course. All the content was clear and succinct, and it was presented in a very engaging way. I now have clear, actionable steps to help me towards achieving my financial goals, and a wealth of information to guide me along the way.

Matthew C

The course was exactly what I was expecting: concise information delivered in the clear style that you got us used to. LHTI gave me the confidence to go out there and start investing!

Anca C

A very enjoyable and useful course.  My previous attempts at investing were somewhat haphazard with mixed results, but the course has given me an excellent foundation in understanding how to invest much more intelligently.  It has enabled me to develop a much more focused strategy, which I have already started to implement using the information I learnt from Pete’s course.
